Friends educate on unique eco-system

Friends of Hindmarsh River Estuary group celebrated its second birthday on Thursday, May 4 and had a number of community and environmental organisations attending, along with the community.

Friends convenor Mark Richards said the event was a success.

“We understand the considerable work in pulling together a display and coming to an event,” Mark said.

“We’re getting a lot of positive feedback from members of the community about how much they appreciated the day. There were some great interactions and some terrific information was shared.”

David Mundy, Nick Pugliese and Darryl Keane, from the Victor Harbor Men’s Shed, cooked the barbecue for visitors at the event.
